Sales Manager

You have an outstanding opportunity to join a young and growing company in the housewares industry. Our product line is rapidly expanding and we are looking for a future driving force to continue our rapid growth plans.

We are seeking an experienced, charismatic, creative, organized, energetic, team player with a passion for sales and drive to succeed with 3+ years of documented successful experience in Houseware sales management, and familiarity with a wide array of distribution channels including, big box retailers, department stores, gift stores, internet sales, catalogue sales, and specialty houseware retailers.

The desired individual must have housewares experience and meet the following requirements:

- Managed domestic distributors & the independent manufacturer’s representative network
- Maintenance of existing account base
- Gaining additional placement with new items at existing accounts
- Securing product placement with new accounts, both individually and 
   with rep groups
- Segmenting, organizing, and creating a database of prospective new
  accounts to work with our distributors and manufacturer representatives
- Making sales presentations and generating sales volume in line with
  company objectives
- Ability to juggle various tasks/ projects simultaneously
- Ability to work with third party overseas manufacturer
- Providing timely reports to management
- Attending industry trade shows
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Other duties which may include creating new and alternative markets for our products, participating in special projects and assisting with customer service and various marketing initiatives.
